KEY MEMBER OF OBAMA 2012 MEDIA TEAM LAUNCHES CREATIVE SHOP
New firm seeks to build on creative and video successes
Washington, D.C. – September 24, 2013 – Former GMMB Senior Vice President and Obama for America 2012 Lead Producer for Paid Advertising, Terrance Green, recently launched Truxton Creative, an advertising production shop that will provide both creative and video production services for political campaigns, campaign consultants, non-profits and ad agencies.
Truxton Creative, based in Washington, D.C., will offer its clients a unique blend of smart ideas and production know-how to craft effective video content that connects with the people who determine the success of a campaign or cause.
“I’m excited about the opportunity to work with passionate and inspiring people that care deeply for what they do,” said Terrance Green, Founder and President of Truxton Creative. “Whether it’s winning a campaign, becoming a better corporate citizen or fighting for social change, our creative and technical abilities, combined with over 12 years in advertising, will produce results for candidates and brands of all shapes and sizes.”
Also a former Senior Producer at GMMB, Green contributed to ad production throughout President Obama’s historic 2008 campaign. In 2012, while also at GMMB, Green became a key member of the Obama for America (OFA) Media Team in his role as lead producer. As part of that collective, he was responsible for leading the firms’ efforts in the creation of more than 250 television ads on behalf of the President’s re-election bid, the largest political campaign in U.S. history. In addition to creating political content at GMMB, Green played important roles in producing brand advertising for clients such as Visa, America’s Wireless Companies (CTIA) and The Corporation for National and Community Service.
The full slate of Truxton Creative’s offerings include: concepts and scripting, field production, video editing and motion graphics. They seek to partner with their clients to create visual content ranging from :30 second ads for broadcast, to short-form videos for online and mobile platforms.
“Truxton Creative will apply the lessons learned and experiences from the successful 2012 presidential campaign along with our experience producing video content for corporate and non-profit clients to tell meaningful and impactful stories that deliver positive results for a brand or campaign,” added Green.
